The Purpose of the assignment is to support the design, implementation, maintenance of databases, including the development and design of database strategies, monitoring and improving database performance, capacity and planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Three (3) years working experience as a database manager using Microsoft SQL Database server, managing mission-critical high volume applications
- Knowledge of database management systems including storage, structure, data models, report writers, query languages and schemas
- Sound knowledge of database performance tuning and capacity planning skills
- Outgoing, determined and vigorous personality
- Ability to work productively in a team
- Good communication skills
