JOB DESCRIPTION:

Lifeguard is to provide supervision of the beach/pool areas to ensure safety of all guests and other team members for the prevention of any accident that may occur. Also it is important to abide by all rules and regulation under the beach control act

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain a well stocked first aid kit
  • Maintain up to date CPR /lifeguard certification
  • Keep the beach and pool area clean and free of debris
  • Check and prepare dinghy or rescue boat for run
  • Ensure that walkway are properly maintained
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the beach /pool area (including water)
  • Prepare hobbies cat, kayak, paddle boat etc. for guest
  • Teach guest how to sail and navigate boat etc. in the beach area
  • Organize and secure beach /pool chairs
  • Responsible for maintaining all water sports equipment
  • Assist with raking and cleaning of the beach/pool area
  • Doing maintenance request form for any repairs necessary for pool/beach
  • Maintain a high standard personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
  • Ensure that workstation is always monitored
  • Have excellent communication skills in oral and written format
  • Have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Lifeguards with valid Coxswain Driver certificate is an asset
  • Rigging and cleaning of equipment daily
  • Watch over the pool and beach to ensure that swimmers are not struggling or out of their depth
  • Rescuing swimmers that are in trouble and administering any necessary first aid
  • Enforcing all pool and beach rules and preventing unsafe behavior
  • Supervising changing facilities
  • Lifeguard needs stamina and excellent level of physical fitness.

Summary:

The Storeroom assistant is responsible for all goods and services related to the company stored within the Storeroom. You are entrusted with the responsibility of receiving, storing, and issuing supplies and equipment for the day-to-day villa operations under the direct supervision of the Storeroom Manager. The cleanliness and proper order of the Storeroom is paramount in being successful in this position. You must take initiative and be able to identify and complete tasks on your own without prompt. The success of each villa and the services offered, especially via food and beverage, depends highly on you and how seriously you take this job and the delivery of your services. This is a high stress and physically demanding position and as such you must be able to always manage stress and intense labor professionally, as these situations present themselves.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor par levels for all food items to ensure proper levels at ALL times
  • Ensure storage of both food and beverage and operational stock as guided by MoH standards
  • Day to day checks of the Storeroom for proper hygiene and full compliance is mandatory
  • Assist with supplier delivery and ensure that all goods supplied are as per agreed order/purchase and all matches the delivery note
  • Be able to identify and refuse faulty and substandard goods
  • Accurately weigh out food items for villas
  • Assemble drinks/ food items for villas in the morning and afternoon
  • Help move newly delivered items around storeroom
  • Properly dispose of used liquor bottles

About Us: Grand Decameron is committed to maintaining the highest standards of comfort and service for our guests. We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our maintenance team and ensure that all plumbing systems in guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities are functioning efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and related equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, such as leaks, blockages, or faulty fixtures, and implement effective solutions.
  • Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Respond promptly to guest or staff reports of plumbing issues, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
  • Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and water heaters.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including parts used and maintenance performed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation standards in plumbing work.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to complete larger projects or renovations involving plumbing systems.
  • Stay updated on new plumbing technologies, materials, and best practices to improve efficiency and service quality.
  • Report major plumbing issues or required upgrades to the maintenance supervisor or management.
  • Assist with emergency plumbing situations as needed, such as burst pipes or flooding.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
  • Effective communication skills, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Certification or licensing as a professional plumber is required.
