Quality Assurance Officer (Kingston, Jamaica) - Coldfield Manufacturing Limited

Duties include:

• Ensuring quality in-process and the end product
• Weighing critical raw materials
• Overseeing the cleaning and sanitation of process equipment
• Performing quality, chemical and microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process goods, packaging, finished goods and water
• Maintaining accurate records as it relates to the Quality Department
• Maintaining laboratory equipment and reagents
• Ensuring the factory is operating in accordance with good manufacturing practices

The successful candidate is required to have:

• Two (2) to three (3) years quality assurance experience in a food plant
• Working knowledge of good manufacturing practices and equipment sanitation practices
• Knowledge of pasteurization and other processing equipments
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Internet Explorer
• Microbiology and/or HACCP experience will be helpful
