Duties include:
- Ensuring quality in-process and the end product
- Weighing critical raw materials
- Overseeing the cleaning and sanitation of process equipment
- Performing quality, chemical and microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process goods, packaging, finished goods and water
- Maintaining accurate records as it relates to the Quality Department
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and reagents
- Ensuring the factory is operating in accordance with good manufacturing practices
The successful candidate is required to have:
- Two (2) to three (3) years quality assurance experience in a food plant
- Working knowledge of good manufacturing practices and equipment sanitation practices
- Knowledge of pasteurization and other processing equipments
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Internet Explorer
- Microbiology and/or HACCP experience will be helpful
