Maintenance Technician (Montego Bay, Jamaica) - The Tryall Club

 

Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting maintenance check and repairs for air-con and other refrigeration system. Responsible for executing electrical repairs, modification, installation and maintenance programs throughout the property.

JOB SUMMARY

Maintenance Technician is responsible in conducting maintenance check and repairs for air-con and other refrigeration system. Responsible for executing electrical repairs, modification, installation and maintenance programs throughout the property.

REQUIREMENT/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a graduate with a level 1 or 2 vocational course in Air Conditioning or Electrical.
  • Must have at least 1-2 years experience in HVAC, Kitchen and Laundry equiptment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed analytical and diagnostic skills.
  • Effective time management skills
  • Knowledge of the location of various circuit breakers, panels and enclosures, which control electrical equipment.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment associated with electrical systems.
  • Sound knowledge of safety and emergency procedures used in corrective and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Ability to read and operate several test instruments associated with various branches of the electrical discipline.
  • Ability to recognize and identify main components and circuits of air condition, uninterrupted power supply (UPS) and generator plants.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Routine Inspections: Perform regular inspections of HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning coils, replacing filters, and checking refrigerant levels.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues such as refrigerant leaks, faulty wiring, or malfunctioning components.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Carry out preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning lint traps, checking belts, and ensuring proper lubrication.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner to minimize disruption.

Painter:

Requirements:

Plumber:

Role Overview: The Plumber ensures the proper functioning of plumbing systems throughout the resort, including installation, maintenance, and repairs.

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures, including pipes, valves, faucets, toilets, and sinks.
  • Diagnose plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.

Maintenance Technician (Kingston, Jamaica) - National Housing Trust


The National Housing Trust seeks to identify a Maintenance Technician for its Property Management Department. The Maintenance Technician provides routine maintenance services to electrical, plumbing and telephone systems, and also assists in monitoring the work done by contractors.

Main Duties:

Duties specific to the position include:
  • Conducting routine checks on air conditioning units, generators and water supply
  • Ensuring that work done by external service providers conforms with regulations
  • Undertaking minor repairs on office equipment and appliances
  • Assisting with office refurbishing and providing electrical maintenance services
  • Participating in disaster management activities, and

Qualifications and Experience:
