Experience Coordinator (Montego Bay, Jamaica) - Ocean Coral Spring/Eden Bay

 

We are seeking three (3) highly skilled and experienced Disc Jockeys and one (1) Light and Sound Technician to join our team. Interested candidates are invited to apply today.

As a Disc Jockey, you will be responsible for creating an energetic and engaging atmosphere for our guests. As a Light and Sound Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all lighting and sound equipment are functioning properly and providing technical support for events.

Responsibilities:

Disc Jockeys:

• Play music for various events and functions
• Create playlists and mix music to engage audiences
• Make announcements and interact with guests
• Maintain a professional and energetic atmosphere
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful events

Light and Sound Technician:

• Set up and operate lighting and sound equipment for events
• Conduct sound checks and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly
• Provide technical support for events and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful events
• Maintain lighting and sound equipment and ensure that it is in good working order

Requirements:

• Two plus (2+) years of experience as a Disc Jockey or Light and Sound Technician
• Strong knowledge of music and lighting/sound technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think on your feet
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleaning standards in guest rooms, ensuring compliance with company protocols and quality expectations.
• Perform cleaning tasks in hallways, entrances, and door frames, ensuring all areas are spotless and welcoming.
• Conduct inspections of assigned rooms using the Galileus system to verify physical conditions and identify any issues.
• Report room damages, anomalies, or irregularities to supervisors and update records in the Galileus system promptly.
• Communicate laundry service requirements to supervisors or the Housekeeping office as needed.
• Verify proper use and placement of linens, ensuring consistent adherence to standards.
• Oversee the organization of cleaning areas and service trolleys at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Ensure appropriate and safe use of chemical cleaning products and adherence to safety protocols.
• Supervise the correct use of security equipment to prevent workplace accidents.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold efficiency, teamwork, and overall cleanliness.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a related role.
• Minimum 1 year of experience within the Hospitality & Tourism industry.
• Any tertiary-level education or qualification or completed course or training in housekeeping or cleaning services is an asset.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform daily room maintenance tasks, including cleaning, tidying work areas, and conducting touch-ups (e.g., painting, varnishing) to assigned rooms.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and functional checks using established checklists, ensuring compliance with company standards and operational procedures.
• Use appropriate safety equipment and follow safety protocols, including waste separation and transfer to designated centers.
• Collaborate with supervisors and housekeeping teams to address maintenance requests, faults, and any necessary repairs, providing timely updates via radio or communication systems.
• Maintain tools and equipment safely, report any missing items or non-repairable faults to supervisors, and ensure compliance with the Legionella cleaning policy and company regulations.
