Mobile Customer Service Representative (Kingston, Jamaica) - JN General Insurance

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales targets outlined for the branch assigned

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for providing service to the customer base of Spark Energy Electricity and Gas, and other potential organizations.  These entities offer retail natural gas or electricity to residential and commercial customers across the country.  Individual must excel in a dynamic, troth oriented, team environment.  Spark Energy is committed to providing outstanding customer service, and this individual must personify this attitude.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Field incoming customer service calls, assuming responsibility to resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner
  • Research account status and identify account issues

Core Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound/outbound calls; Contact customers by phone to offer them the best solution to match their needs
  • Follow up diligently on all scheduled customer call back
  • Send sales and marketing information to customers
  • Manage database of prospects using CRM and dialer technology
  • Review call and enrollment reports to ensure enrolment targets are met
  • Analyze calling patterns to ensure most effective customer contact strategies are used
  • Maintain personal knowledge base of all marketing programs, contract terms and regulatory rules
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • 5 CXC subjects or higher, including English
  • English language proficiency with a clear accent
  • Typing speed of at least 45 wpm
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Comfortable working with CRM and phone dialer systems
  • Customer service sales experience

Customer Service Representative
Job Scope


Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful applicant will offer service, flexibility, problem prevention, communication, a proactive sense of urgency, attentiveness and professionalism to the Company’s customers experience. The incumbent must be able to, as part of his/her duties market the Company’s products and service contracts to new and old clientele.


Core Functions:
  • Perform daily checks on order and delivery status for all products
  • Order tracking and providing order status information to our customers
  • Act as a liaison between Technical staff and customers
  • Provide service to customers in a prompt, courteous and effective manner
  • Provide relevant input for decision making to customer queries
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external customers
  • Liaison between the Company and the customer
  • Managing the Company’s website and social media accounts
  • Contact existing customers regarding promotions  and for the purchasing of service contracts
  • Explain to customers the company’s process from sale through  interconnection
  • Scheduling and dispatching field service personnel to complete on-site troubleshooting
  • Communicating issues/challenges being experienced by customers to the relevant department heads to address areas of improvement so that processes can be streamlined, and efficiency improved


Qualifications and Experienced
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management/ Business Administration or Marketing
  • Minimum of five (5) CSEC passes including Mathematics and English A
  • At least two (2) years experience working in a customer/marketing oriented and/or sales role
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of staff
  • Must be computer literate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers
  • Knowledge of Insightly CRM System
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence to drive results
  • Ability to understand and explain the solar process effectively
