Duties and Responsibility include:
- Drafting (Claim documents, contracts and agreements)
- Legal Research (case law, legislation, etc)
- Preparing case briefs and legal opinions
- Filing
- Interviewing clients
- Attending court matters
Job Requirements:
- Law degree from a reputable law school
- A comprehensive understanding of civil litigation
- The civil procedure rules and court of appeal rules
- Strong advocacy, problem solving, team work and communication skills
- High degree of honesty and utmost integrity
- Must be willing to commute outside of Kingston
