SECURITY MANAGER (Kingston & St. Andrew, Jamaica) - JUTC

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company Limited seeks to recruit a SECURITY MANAGER.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• First degree in Management Studies or equivalent qualifications
• At least five (5) years Military/Police/Security Training

Core Function:

 The incumbent will be responsible for developing and coordinating the implementation of policies and procedures to monitor and safeguard the security of personnel and property.

The successful candidate should also possess:

• Sound knowledge of security procedures and regulations
• Sound knowledge of the Jamaican legal system
• Knowledge of the road network within the Kingston Metropolitan Transport Region
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Sound knowledge of laws as it relates to traffic laws and regulations, trespassing, malicious destruction of panty and property
• Good knowledge of investigative practice and techniques
• Excellent judgement and analytical skills
• Excellent human relations skills
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications
