Purchasing/Delivery Clerk (Kingston, Jamaica) - Superior Press Limited

The Purchasing/Delivery Clerk will work collaboratively to ensure an unbroken supply chain and will have responsibility for the complete ordering cycle and management of key inventory.

Key Competencies:
  • Experience in supplier relationship management and designing collaborative initiatives with suppliers 
  • Experience in forecasting, procurement and inventory management and good appreciation for logistics 
  • Ensuring that all proforma are received and vetted 
  • Filing 
  • Verifying invoices 
  • Run reports and ensure monthly stock count
Qualifications: Education and/or Experience:



  1. Computer literacy 
  2. Be able to work well with others 
  3. Have good math skills 
  4. Be able to handle multiple tasks 
  5. Be detail oriented 
  6. Good communication skills:
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients customers,  and the general public 
Mathematical skills:
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations 
Reasoning Skills:
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral,  diagram or schedule form

Purchasing Clerk (Kingston, Jamaica) - Mother's


We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Purchasing Team as Purfchasing Clerk. The successful candidate should be flexible; be able to work on own initiative and be able to meet deadlines stipulated by the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal customers to meet all purchasing requirements
  • Assist in identifying suitable suppliers to meet company needs 
  • Data entry in Microsoft Excel
  • Filing and records management

Education and Experience:
  • Five (5) CXC/CSEC subjects including English and Mathematics/Accounts; Information Technology will be a distinct advantage
  • A minimum of two (2) years clerical experience
  • Experience in a purchasing role is a distinct advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite application especailly Excel
