Steward
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring that all areas of the hotel's kitchen are clean. This includes:
- Cleaning cooking tables
- dishes
- glassware
- utensils,
- and kitchen equipment
- Also operating the dishwashers as needed
- Bring the earthenware, plate and glassware for service at all consumption centers.
- Make the assemblies of events to ensure that the needs of the client are met.
- Supply the necessary chemical products for the cooking operation and keep it functioning properly.
- Clean and order the equipment and facilities of the different kitchen areas during shift for the opening of the next shift.
- Check the dilution of chemicals for equipment and disinfection activities.
- Check the temperatures of the machines for proper operation.
- Report detected anomalies to its Supervisor in turn.
- Apply established standards of equipment, food and beverages hygienic handling.
- Report missing or any type of anomaly to your immediate Supervisor to avoid delays in the service.
- Maintains in good condition the equipment provided so that the cleaning is performed in the most optimal way.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- One plus (1+) years in experience working as steward in hotels
- Proven knowledge in cleaning chemicals use
