Accounting Officer (Kingston, Jamaica) - Geddes Refrigeration Limited

Geddes Refrigeration Limited is seeking an Accounting Officer to join its team.

Minimum qualifications include:

• ACCA level II 
• Minimum two (2) to four (4) years experience in the accounting field 
• Knowledge of Great Plains accounting software 
• Experience in preparing bank reconciliation 
• Experience in auditing at a senior level would be an advantage 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Process invoices - post invoices to accounting system (Great Plains)
• Prepare management reports - ratio analysis 
• Post electronic payments or cheques to accounting system 
• Manage the WIP 
• Reconcile overseas and local supplier statements 
• Prepare costing for shipments received 

Demonstrable competencies for the position are:

• Results oriented 
• Self-motivated
• Analytical
