Requirements:
The successful candidate would possess:
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience in hotel Accounting at a senior level with an in-depth understanding of Inventory Management and Cost Control functions.
- A degree or diploma in Accounting or ACCA Level 1 or 2 is a distinct asset.
- Strong teamwork and people management skills.
- Excellent Leadership and Organizational skills.
- Computer literate, skilled in QuickBooks, Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint to name a few), POS Systems, spread sheets and other applications.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Plan, organize and manage the hotel's cost.
- Managing particularly the F and B cost function and maintaining the standard of all responsible areas.
- Manage a small team of direct reports.
- Prepare Budget and Oversee CAPEX process.
- Provide costing for pricing decisions/changes.
- Provide weekly sales and production reports.
- Ensure all reports are submitted within the deadline, and all resulting queries cleared.
