Front Desk Agent, etc (Kingston, Jamaica) - Kingston Hotel

A fast growing hotel in Kingston invites applicants for the following positions:

Night Auditor

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Process all Curators' check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms and issuing and activating room keys
• Balances and audits room revenue for accuracy
• Prepares various audit worksheets

Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Accounting, General Studies or equivalent from an accredited training institution
• A minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar position, preferably in a hospitality environment
• Good understanding of Opera Software would be a plus

Public Area Attendant

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Clean and maintain restaurants and banquets halls
• Sweep carpets, vacuum and polish elevators
• Empty ashtrays and urns

Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in English
• Work experience as a cleaner, room attendant, or housekeeper , etc

Front Desk Agent

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Process all Curators' check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms and issuing and activating room keys
• Process all Mobile Check-ins and ensure Curators get a response from the Control Panel
• Always logged in to Email, Control Panel, GXP Platform and ensure Curators receive a response within a timely manner (for example meeting the Mobile Chat 4 minutes response time)

Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, General Studies or equivalent from an accredited training institution
• A minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar position, preferably in a Hospitality environment
• Good understanding of Opera software would be a plus
