Pharmacist (Portmore, Jamaica)

Pharmacist: Full-time and freelancer

Responsibilities:
  • Dispense and revie prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with professional and Jamaican regulatory requirements
  • Be able to collaborate with other health care professionals to plan, monitor, review and evaluate patient effectiveness
  • Counsel customers on the selection ofmedication brands, medical equipment and health-care supplies
  • Keep records and perform other administrative tasks to include insurance claims
  • Educate patient on medication use, storage and side effects
  • Have excellent supervisory skills to include invenmtory management and purchasing


Qualifications and Experience:
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Be a fuly registered pharmacist with a valid license to practice by the Pharmacy Council of Jamaica
  • Have at least one (1) year practical experience as a Pharmacist
