Human Resource Assistant (Kingston, Jamaica)

A petroleum marketing company is seeking to identify a Human Resource Assistant.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Human Resource Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resource Department regarding human resource activities, policies, processes and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• An undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent from an accredite4d tertiary institution
• Minimum of three (3) years continuous experience in a similar capacity

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills
• High level of professionalism and cofidentiality
• Knowledge of Jamaica Labour Laws
