The Driver will be responsible for village transportation, mainly children and youth to and from destinations on a predefined route. He or she will also be responsible for the delivery and collection of important documents to and from requested destinations.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school/secondary school certificate
- A valid Open General Driver's License with at least five (5) years driving experience
- Must be able to drive a 15 seater standard bus
Required Knowledge and skills
- He or she will need to be patient and level headed to be able to deal directly with children of varying backgrounds
- Extensive knowledge of KINGSTON AND ST. ANDREW
- Reliability, honesty and unquestionable integrity
- Team player
- Good intepersonal skills and communication skills
- Experience in bearer duties would be an asset
- Motor vehicle maintenance an asset
- Ability to reside in the village
- Be able to make a long term commitment
