The JPS and Partners Co-operative Credit Union invites suitably qualified applicants to fill the position of:
Human Resource Officer
- Participating in the planning, organizing and implementation of training and welfare programmes
- Administration of Employee Benefits scheme
- Management and administration of employment contracts and personnel records
- Provides administrative and secretarial support to the Human Resource Manager
Qualifications and Experience:
- Under graduate degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent from an accredited training institution
- Three (3) years experience in Human Resource environment
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and principles; knowledge of local labour laws
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge and Key Competencies
- Knowledge of experience in Strategic Planning and Implementation
- Experience/knowledge in Benefits Administration, Recruitment, Selection, Administration Management and Occupational Health and Safety Administration
- Sound knowledge of the labour laws, industrial relations and human resource principles and techniques
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge specific to human resource information systems
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent team building and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
