Accounts Payable Officer (Kingston, Jamaica)

A leading manufacturer and distibutor is seeking an experienced and competent Accounts Payable Officer to join its dynamic finance team based in Kingston.

Core Functions:

• Ensure creditor's reconciliations are completed and any discrepancy promptly resolved
• Ensure all non-stock creditors and other stock creditors and other stock creditor invoices are paid according to credit terms
• Ensure the company's purchasing policy and purchase authority is followed
• Respond to vendor's inquiries in a timely and professional manner

The ideal candidate should have:

• first degree in Accounting 
• At least three (3) years experience in a similar capacity
• Good software management and manipulation skills
• Good Microsoft Office Suite knowledge/skills
