Summary
Performs responsible administrative work supporting the secretarial and administrative needs of a senior leadership member of the company.
Principal Responsibilities
• Provides administrative and secretarial support to one or more senior leadership members.
• Coordinates meeting, office schedules and handles routine correspondence for senior leader.
• Provides front line assistance and support for VIP guests, clients, and visitors.
• Distributes and directs incoming phone calls and emails to manager.
• Coordinates travel schedule and plans for senior manager.
• Oversees reimbursements for travel, purchasing, and other expenditures by division and/or office.
Knowledge, skills and other characteristics
• An Associates Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Prior administrative experience to a middle to high-level manager preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of the functions, operations, and strategy of executive office administration.
• Skilled in transcribing dictation and in the use standard Office equipment (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
• Ability to direct and coordinate the work of others.
• Ability to work independently on complex and confidential secretarial tasks.
