Urban Development Corporation seeks Accounting Clerk (Kingston, Jamaica)

Job Summary:

The incumbent has overall responsibility for the preparation of monthly financial reports and audit schedules for assigned subsidiaries and intercompany reconciliations. In addition, responsibilities relating to the online generation and distribution of Withholding Tax Certificates (WTC) and Withholding Tax on Specified Services (WTSS) along with related reconciliations.

The ideal candidate should have:
Specific Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

• Five (5) GCE/CXC subjects including English Language and Accounts
• A minimum of two (2) years experience in accounting with workling knowledge of financial accounting systems
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats
• Well-developed analytical skills
• Sound interpersonal skills
• Sound time management skills
• Must be confidential
• Ability to work in a team
