Ocean Coral Spring & Ocean Eden Bay invites experienced and eligible candidates to apply for the Room Attendant position currently available.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleaning standards in guest rooms, ensuring compliance with company protocols and quality expectations.
- Perform cleaning tasks in hallways, entrances, and door frames, ensuring all areas are spotless and welcoming.
- Conduct inspections of assigned rooms using the Galileus system to verify physical conditions and identify any issues.
- Report room damages, anomalies, or irregularities to supervisors and update records in the Galileus system promptly.
- Communicate laundry service requirements to supervisors or the Housekeeping office as needed.
- Verify proper use and placement of linens, ensuring consistent adherence to standards.
- Oversee the organization of cleaning areas and service trolleys at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Ensure appropriate and safe use of chemical cleaning products and adherence to safety protocols.
- Supervise the correct use of security equipment to prevent workplace accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold efficiency, teamwork, and overall cleanliness.
- At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a related role.
- Minimum 1 year of experience within the Hospitality & Tourism industry.
- Any tertiary-level education or qualification or completed course or training in housekeeping or cleaning services is an asset.
