The ideal candidate must possess:
All applicants are required to provide two references and a valid Police Record.
ALL candidates should be able to be interviewed via Zoom.
Knowledge of horticulture to create various landscape effects through the placement of shrubs, flowers, trees, and other plants.
Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess:
- Certification from a recognized training institution.
- At least five (5) years hands-on experience with gardening techniques.
- Three (3) - Five (5) years landscaping or Gardener experience.
- Landscapers need an eye for detail to notice when mulch needs to be replaced or replenished. To employ turf management techniques to make sure mulch is spread evenly.
- Ability to mow lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower
- To use knowledge of weed maintenance techniques to develop and stick to a regular maintenance schedule.
- To know the ideal planting conditions for each plant, as well as how to care for them. Knowledge of pesticide and fertilizer care and use.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- The willingness and the ability to sleep over (nights) at the villa.
- Experience as a landscaper that has worked in a four (4) star or five (5) diamond properties.
