About Us: Grand Decameron is committed to maintaining the highest standards of comfort and service for our guests. We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our maintenance team and ensure that all plumbing systems in guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities are functioning efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and related equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, such as leaks, blockages, or faulty fixtures, and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems and perform preventive maintenance.
- Respond promptly to guest or staff reports of plumbing issues, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
- Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and water heaters.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including parts used and maintenance performed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation standards in plumbing work.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to complete larger projects or renovations involving plumbing systems.
- Stay updated on new plumbing technologies, materials, and best practices to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Report major plumbing issues or required upgrades to the maintenance supervisor or management.
- Assist with emergency plumbing situations as needed, such as burst pipes or flooding.
- Experience: Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
- Effective communication skills, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Certification or licensing as a professional plumber is required.
