The successful candidate will assist the executive housekeeper in achieving high levels of guest satisfaction with regards to cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas. He/she supports the Executive Housekeeper in directing and controlling all housekeeping activities, including the maintenance of rooms and public areas in accordance with company standards.
Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:
- Developing an annual budget including a staffing guide and capital requirements.
- Coordinating with Maintenance and Front Office Managers regarding projects and preventative maintenance.
- Continually looking for sustainable ways to improve the operations of the housekeeping department.
- Maintaining hotel standards, policies, and procedures as they relate to health and safety.
- The ability to analyze, resolve problems, and exercise good judgment.
- Keeping abreast with current trends within the hospitality industry.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel/Business Management or equivalent
- Minimum three years’ work experience in a similar or comparative position
- Computer literate with working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- International experience would be an advantage.
