What do you need to become a Team Member?

• At least 3 CXC’s/CSEC subject; It would be an asset to have one of the following: Food & Nutrition, Home Management or Agricultural Science
• HEART/NTA NCTVET Passes in Food Preparation (Level 1 or 2), Commercial Food Preparation Level 2 (Commis Chef), Customer Service, F& B Restaurant Service
• Willingness to work flexible schedules
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Team-oriented

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Landscaper to join our team.

The ideal candidate must be creative, have excellent problem-solving skills and organizational abilities to ensure the beautification of the property.

The job involves maintaining a variety of landscape structures that range from typical grassy areas, hardscapes to more granular items such as houseplants. The incumbent will also assist with any pruning tasks needed during their shift.

Duties include:

• Applying fertilizers
• Developing/maintaining landscape design features
• Removing weeds/dead plant material
• Overseeing repairs as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply pesticides/herbicides/insecticides
• Plant new decorative bushes, flowers, plants and shrubs
• Remove weeds and dead trees and plants as needed to preserve the health and natural beauty of the plants
• Trim overgrown limbs, prune trees and hedges around walkways, flower beds and walls to ensure an appealing look to the area

Requirements and Skills/Education:

• Proven work experience as a Landscaper or similar role
• Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawn mowers, leaf blowers and hedge trimmers
• Strong knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to oversee several projects at a time
• A first degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Agriculture or equivalent qualifications with at least five (5) years experience

OVERVIEW

The Ramp Agent, Grand Cayman will report to the Ramp Coordinator, Grand Cayman and is responsible for providing ramp services for Cayman Airways and other airlines that the company provides ground handling services for.

Summary of key responsibilities:

• Promote a strong customer care culture which includes customer safety and security
• Assist with various pre-arrival flight arrangements: arrival notifications, wheelchairs, unaccompanied minors, etc.
• Set up Ramp parking position for arrivals and aircraft departure readiness: FOD checks, Pit set up for Cayman Airways and all other contracted airlines
• Ensure readiness of Ground support equipment, eg. GPU and A/C Cart, etc.
• Direct passengers to and from the terminal
• Verify and deliver flight plans to the respective aircraft and baggage reconciliation documents.
• Monitoring Cayman Airways Express flight passenger loads, fueling, departure and arrival messages, irregular operations as well as filing of messages and daily flight log
• Communication of ground to aircraft radio
• Other related duties which may be assigned from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of high school diploma
• Computer literate with basic general knowledge in Airline Operations Procedures ▪ Able to work independently and under pressure at times
• Able to speak a foreign language would be an asset
• Able to stand for long hours and lift heavy passenger baggage up to 70 pounds ▪ Able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• This is a manual job that demands stability

Special Conditions

• When working on the ramp, agents will be exposed to the elements; extreme heat, rain and noisy conditions.
