We are looking for a quality-focused Executive Housekeeper to join our team.

At Grand Palladium Jamaica & Lady Hamilton Resorts & Spa, delivering exceptional guest experiences begins with outstanding standards of cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail. We are currently looking for an Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping department and ensure operational excellence across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the Housekeeping department.
• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms and public areas.
• Address and resolve guest concerns related to housekeeping services.
• Train, supervise, and develop the Assistant Housekeeper and departmental staff.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Monitor operational performance indicators and departmental efficiency.
• Manage linen inventory, cleaning supplies, and departmental budgets.
• Ensure proper handling of chemicals, equipment, and housekeeping supplies.
• Oversee staff scheduling and attendance monitoring.
• Conduct inspections of rooms, public areas, storage areas, and cleaning procedures.
• Ensure compliance with environmental practices and recycling procedures.
• Maintain effective communication within the team and across departments.

Requirements for a strong fit

• Technical degree or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a 600-room hotel, or 5 years as a Floor Supervisor or Assistant Housekeeper.
• Experience leading and supervising large housekeeping teams.
• Knowledge of chemical handling, inventory control, and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with hotel systems (Prestige preferred) and operational tools.
• Strong organizational skills, operational planning, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of cleanliness standards in luxury or 5-star hotels is highly desirable.
