A Methodist Tertiary Institution, Excelsior Community College invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following positions:

Marketing Officer

Summary of Responsibilities:

To provide support in raising the visibility of Excelsior Community College by carrying out an effective marketing and recruitment plan in order to attract new students across the School's portfolio of programmes

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline
• Post graduate qualifications Business, Marketing or related area
• A minimum of three (3) years experience in a related area

Accounting Officer/Assistant Bursar

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Bursar, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the supervision of the Accounting staff, and conducting various accounting functions in a prudent manner and in keeping with the fiscal provisions of the Government of Jamaica.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:

• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills 
• Competence in the use of Accpac or similar accounting applications
• Excellent supervisory skills
• Competence in budget preparation and preparation of financial statements would be an asset

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• B.Sc. in AQccounting/ACCA level 2 or equivalent
• At least two (20 yewars experience in a similar job would be an asset
