Accountant (Kingston, Jamaica) - Xsomo International Ltd.

We are seeking a suitably exceptional candidate to join our Accounting department as an ACCOUNTANT.

Key Functions:

• Prepare monthly financial statements, Journals and Management reports to meet requirements
• Coordinate activities with Internal and External Auditors to meet audit deadlines
• Supervise accounts payables and inventory functions 
• Prepare statutory compliance documentation (inclusive of Tax returns)
• Maintain the Fixed Asset register
• Use Sage 300 accounting application for inventory control, general ledger, Bank Reconciliation and payables

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Display the highest level of honesty and integrity
• ACCA level 2 or first degree in Accounting
• A minimum of five (5) years working experience
• A minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience
• Experience in manufacturing or retail distribution would be an asset
• Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong reporting skills
• Be a team player and display strong interpersonal skills
